Assessing Pakistan-USA Relationship

International Academy of Letters USA, in partnership with South Asia Institute, Wilson Center, organized Annual Pakistan Conference on June 26, 2024 at Wilson Center Washington D.C. The theme of the conference was “ Lookingback, Looking Forward: Assessing Pakistan-USA Relationship. Mr. Masood Khan, Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States, was the keynote speaker. Mr. Ghazanfar Hashmi, President/CEO IAL USA and Mr. Michael Kugelman, Director South Asia Institute, Wilson Center, gave opening remarks. Second session was moderated by Michael Kugelman, Director Wilson Center and former U.S. ambassadors to Pakistan, Ann Patterson, David Hale and Cameron Munter, participated as panelists. Third session was moderated by Ghazanfar Hashmi, President/ CEO International Academy of Letters USA, and Dr. Ishrat Hussain, former Governor State Bank, Pam Constable, former Bureau Chief Washington Post, Dr. Marvin Weinbaum, Director Middle East Institute, Shahid Hashmi, prominent businessman and Dr. Adam Qadeer, political analyst, participated as panelists. Ambassador Sada Cumber, Former YS Special Envoy to OIC addressed the closing session as keynote speaker.
